Meier Clinics originated in Texas with the first office opening in 1976 and was co-founded by  Dr. Paul Meier.  Meier Clinics is a well-known Christian counseling center in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex with two clinics to choose from.  The  Ft. Worth and Allen clinics offer outpatient counseling services and a larger facility in Richardson, a suburb to the north of Dallas, offers day program services (partial hospital services) for adults in addition to outpatient counseling.

The Richardson office staff is comprised of five psychiatrists, several psychologists, and numerous therapists and counselors available for a wide range of counseling needs.  Dr. Paul Meier sees outpatients as well as day program clients in the Richardson facility. A Board Certified Child and Adolescent psychiatrist will also be joining our staff in July 2007.  The Day Program is an intensive counseling program running Monday through Friday with the typical stay being three to six weeks.  Clients benefit from extensive daily therapy in addition to seeing the psychiatrist each day for medication management.  The Outpatient program is for those who need less intensive care, generally meeting with a therapist once weekly or less.

The Ft. Worth clinic has one full time counselor and a part time counselor who sees clients in the evening and on Saturdays.  A psychiatrist is at the clinic once a month to see clients who need medication management and for general consultations.
