Our History

Meier Clinics of Deerfield was established in the mid 1990's so that those living in northern Illinois and Wisconsin could now receive the same great Christian counseling they had been traveling to Wheaton for over the years.  Although we are known as the Deerfield clinic, we are actually located in Bannockburn, a suburb adjacent to Deerfield. Our convenient location is a great attraction to our clients since it is easily accessible from the toll way.  We are located at 2275 Half Day Road, just one block from the Half Day Road (Rt. 22) exit off the 294 toll way.   

 

Our Services

The Deerfield clinic provides outpatient counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.  We work with a wide age range of clients,  adolescents through geriatrics.  Our highly trained and compassionate staff offer weekday and evening hours and accept many insurance plans.  Counseling is available in English and Cantonese.  We have psychologists who are trained to not only provide counseling but to administer psychological testing that may be important for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.  Visit our Deerfield Counselors page to read a brief bio of our counseling staff.  We also work closely with the Meier Clinics' psychiatrists at the Wheaton and Chicago offices when additional diagnoses or medication management is indicated for effective care.  Some staff are also available to provide workshops on parenting and various mental health issues such as depression, self-injury behavior, and adolescents’ concerns.

NEW PROGRAM IN WHEATON!

Pathway to Freedom - This Intensive Outpatient Program for Sexual Addiction is now available to those who are tired of the pain, loss, shame and burden their addiction is having on them emotionally, vocationally, relationally, and spiritually.  Using the Recovery Start Kit created by Dr. Patrick Carnes, our Christian counseling team will help participants find their way back to health and freedom.  This program meets at the Wheaton Meier Clinics Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 6:15 p.m. - 9:15 p.m.  For more information or to register for this program, contact us at 888-7 CLINIC (888-725-4642).  Click here to read more about this exciting program at the Wheaton clinic.
